We hope you, your family, crew and of course spectators will join us for all of the racing action this weekend, including the Grand Opening Ride for the Heartland Park Topeka Motocross course on Sunday, July 10.
Friday, July 8
Prairie Band Casino & Resort Friday Fun Night Drag Racing: Street car, truck, van, minivan, SUV, motorcycle go-kart or full-on race car – it doesn’t matter! What better way to kick off the month of July and the holiday weekend than drag racing with a bunch of your friends. Come on out!
Racing Fee: $25
Kids (6 – 12): $3
Kids (under 6): FREE
Military Discount: 20% Discount with current military ID
Gate opens at 5 PM
Racing from 6-10 PM (11 PM if there are more than 100 cars registered)

Saturday, July 9
Come on out for the second of three “Havoc in the Heartland” Heads Up Series for 2016. This event will also host some hot and heavy heads up grudge match racing as well as test & tune for heads up drivers and cars.

Extreme Outlaw & True 10.5 classes are 1/8 mile
Index Classes are 1/4 mile
The 10.00 class is on a .400 Pro Tree
The 11.00, 12.00 & 13.00 Index Classes are on a .500 Pro Tree
All payouts are based on 16 car fields and will be adjusted should any class be short
NHRA Safety Rules Apply
Extreme Outlaw and True 10.5 Classes will be laddered off a final “official” qualifying session – Sportsman Ladder will be used (no buy backs)
Index classes will be random pairings and will have a buyback available for first round losers
Test n Tune/Grudge matches throughout the event

This event will be held on the South Paddock, just south of the Tech Inspection Building. Enter the track via Gate E and the tunnel gate.
Sunday, July 10:
Day #2 for the Kansas Region SCCA Solo II (autocross). Different day – different course layout! Register online here or simply walk-up and register that morning. Onsite registration/check in opens around 8 AM, Driver’s Meeting at 9 AM and first car on-course at 10 AM. Note: This event runs rain or shine. Come out and have a good time.
The Grand Opening Ride Day hours will be from 9 AM to 3 PM with the gate opening at 8 AM for riders and their crews. The rider fee for this event will be $25 and includes complimentary crew passes. Spectator admission will be free for this special, Grand Opening event. The smaller pit bike track will also be open to all small motocross bikes throughout the day.
Concessions and restroom facilities will be available for riders, crew and spectators, however, with the track infrastructure still under construction, crew and spectators are asked to bring their own camp chairs and umbrellas to make their spectating more comfortable. Riders and spectators are asked to enter at Gate C off of Gary Ormsby Drive and will then be directed to the pit and parking areas just to the south of the motocross track.

Big Time Bail Bonds Sunday Night Showdown Series. Mother Nature may have gotten us on July 3, but we’re back at it July 10! Come on out for a fast and fun night of side-by-side racing on Heartland Park Topeka’s 3/8-mile dirt oval.
Gates open at 4:30 PM, hot laps start at 6:30 PM and racing starts at 7 PM.
